Comparison of the Pattern Shift and Flash Visual Evoked Potentials

Abstract
We studied twenty-one normal volunteers for Pattern Shift Visual Evoked Potentials (PSVEP)and Flash Visual Evoked Potentials(VEP). We paid attention to the intereye differences in latency and amplitude obtained by 4 different methods: large and
small
check with pattern shift stimulation, eye open and closed with flash stimulation.
@ES We have conclusion as followings;
@EN 1) There was no statistically significant difference in latency and amplitude between Rt. and Lt side.
2) There was no statistically significant differece in latency between large check and small check, between eye closed and eye open, but there was statistically significant difference in latency between pattern shift and flash stimulation.
3) There was no statistically significant difference in amplitude between all methods except between small check size and flash eye open.
4) there was statistically significant difference in intereye latency between flash VEP with eye closed and 3 different methods.
